Abstract: To obtain the intellectualized multichannel measuring technology for dielectric loss of stator coil of generator, on basis of the analysis of both measuring circuit diagram and corresponding circuit model, the effective factors of measuring technology for dielectric loss are calculated emulationally, the relationship including the distance between measuring electrodes, the volume resistivity between measuring electrodes and dielectric loss of stator coil are obtained. One measuring method called dielectric loss of stator coil by spurious three-electrode system with subsection type is proposed. The results for real coil show that all test results can meet the requirements of national standard and test results are almost same compared with both two test methods.
