Abstract:
In order to solve the problem of identifying the homology of emulsified ammonium nitrate explosives and analyzing and judging serial and parallel cases involving explosives in practical cases, ion chromatography was used to inspect and study different batches of emulsified ammonium nitrate explosives from three manufacturers. It was analyzed that emulsified ammonium nitrate explosives produced by different manufacturers have their own characteristic points in ion chromatography, that is,the peak area ratio of Na+ to NH4+in emulsified ammonium nitrate explosives produced by different manufacturers is different,And there are differences in characteristic peaks of anions. The peak area ratio of Na+ to NH4+in different batches of samples from the same manufacturer is the same, and the relative standard deviation of the experimental results is less than 5%.By using emulsified ammonium nitrate explosive samples that have been identified as the source of explosives in previous explosive cases, the research results can be verified and the manufacturer can be accurately traced. Therefore, homology identification of emulsion explosives can be achieved through the peak area ratio of Na+ to NH4+in ion chromatography and the difference in anionic characteristic peaks,in order to trace the origin of the involved emulsion ammonium nitrate explosives. This provides scientific basis for the investigation of explosive cases, the control of civilian explosives, the legal identification of mixed explosives, and the concatenation of explosive cases.
