Abstract: With the continuous pursuit of a better quality of life,on March 15th,2022,the new version of"Standards for Drinking Water quality"GB 5749-2006 was officially released with an implementation date set for April 1st,2023.The accompanying testing standard"Standard examination methods for drinking water"GB/T 5750-2023 will also be implemented on October 1st,2023,the new standard puts forward new requirements for testing institutions,The new standards have introduced fresh requirements for testing institutions,which are constrained by personnel capacity.Small and medium-sized water quality testing laboratories face challenges,pain points,and obstacles in their efforts to enhance their testing capabilities.Systematically,analyzes and classify the 97 indicators stipulated in the"Standards for Drinking Water quality",aiming at the characteristics of small and medium-sized water quality testing laboratories with tight human resources.According to different indexes,the most suitable detection methods are proposed to achieve the purpose of saving labor and improving detection ability.
