Abstract:
With the process of the Belt and Road, more and more Chinese enterprises plan to invest refineries overseas. The construction of refineries overseas involves multiple factors such as market demand, environmental policies, application of design and product standards, and investment costs. The products of overseas refineries, such as gasoline, need to consider the current gasoline product standards of both the domestic and exporting countries. This document analyze the differences between Chinese Standard GB 17930-2016 Gasoline for motor vehicles (GB VIB) and European Standard EN 228:2012+A1:2017 for automotive fuel unleaded gasoline (Euro VI) in technical parameters, test methods, and equipment configurations. It also compares the design of laboratory equipment for GB VIB and Euro VI gasoline.
