Sigfried Giedion's Space, Time and Architecture: the Growth of a New Tradition established a great historiography for modern architecture and provided a theoretical basis for historiography in the same time, promoting the development of Modern Movement. This paper discusses Giedion's historiography of Modern Architecture by studying the various editions of Space, Time and Architecture.
