Abstract
In official construction projects during Qing dynasty, scaffolding materials were reused as turnover materials. Utilizing historical data as a foundation, this paper delves into and elucidates the measures implemented by the Qing government to guarantee a timely supply of suitable scaffolding materials. These measures include purchasing scaffolding materials in accordance with the project’s required quantities and recycling them in adherence to established regulations, thereby ensuring a basic turnover stock of materials. Furthermore, the material receipt sheet served as the basis for delivery and recycling, with timely recovery stipulated by both a set timeframe and quantity, to minimize material waste and loss. Additionally, throughout the entire process of material acquisition, purchase, transportation, acceptance, usage, and recycling, rigorous quality inspection management was enforced to prolong material usage and optimize material utilization.
