Abstract:
This paper focuses on the first three volumes of
Gongcheng Zuofa, which details the hipped roof and half-gable roof wood building, published by the Works Department of Qing dynasty. Building upon previous research, it employs cutting-edge computer graphics technologies to restore the original text into visual architectural components, thereby constructing a comprehensive wood building system encompassing both hipped and half-gable roofs. In this endeavor, it systematically organizes the rules governing these wood buildings and uncovers the official Qing-style construction regulations outlined in
Gongcheng Zuofa.
