Abstract: The exploration of the interpretation of East Asian architectural modernity arises from the pressing challenges faced by the architecture and its industry today. This endeavor primarily aims to scrutinize the evolutionary trajectory of East Asian architecture and its modernity, tracing its origins back to the second half of the 19^th century. It is noteworthy that the journey towards modernity of East Asian architecture, particularly Chinese architecture, remains an ongoing progress, continuously unfolding and evolving.
