Abstract
Wedge-shaped tension clamps are widely used in power systems, but the problem of wire shedding often occurs in actual operation. The root cause of the problem is insufficient grip of the wedge-shaped clamp. A brief introduction to the structural characteristics and installation method of NXJ type tension clamp is elaborated, and finite element simulation is performed to change the mechanical strength of the clamp during operation by changing the wedge angle and wedge material of the NXJ tension clamp. The stress distribution cloud diagram of the clamp body and the wire is obtained, and the grip force of the clamp on the wire under different conditions is compared, which provides a reference for the optimization of the NXJ type tension clamp.
