Optimal Configuration Model of Switch for Distribution Network Based on Resilience Improvement

  • The installation of switch equipment can improve the ability of the distribution network to withstand large-scale failures under extreme disasters. Therefore, an optimal configuration model for distribution network switches that improves resilience is proposed with comprehensive consideration of the role of distributed power and controllable loads. First, the relationship between resilience, reliability, and self-healing ability is sorted out, and the analysis process and quantification method of the resilience are described. Secondly, considering the role of distributed generation and controllable loads, a calculation method for power outage load in distribution networks with multiple faults is proposed. The optimal configuration model of distribution network switches is established in the form of mixed integer linear programming with the goal of maximum resilience index, and the overall process of switch optimal configuration is proposed. Finally, an example analysis shows that the switch installation in the distribution network can work with distributed generation and load reduction methods to significantly improve the resilience and reduce the amount of load loss in extreme disaster.
