Research on the Fast Primary Frequency Modulation Control System of Photovoltaic Field Based on Total Station Control

  • Large-scale grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) power generation may lead to the lack of system FM capability, while grid-connected inverter has a fast regulation speed. By changing the power control mode of grid-connected photovoltaic power generation system, the system can be equipped with primary FM capability. For this purpose, a reconstruction of complete set of scheme based on total control is proposed and the three-phase synchronous fitting algorithm is used to achieve high precision of frequency measurement, on the basis of the photovoltaic power station automatic generation control (AGC) systems and photovoltaic power station active-frequency droop control characteristic, frequency modulation power control strategy of the existing operations involved in the photovoltaic system is improved. The experimental results show that the total station control of the inverter can quickly respond to the drop and increase of frequency and reduce the change of frequency after disturbance.
