Fault Diagnosis Strategy in Two-Stage Matrix Converter Based on Line Voltage

  • Two-stage matrix converter (TSMC) has characteristics of compact structure, simple modulation strategy,which is easy to convert current. But the problem of switch fault become one of the main factors hindering the research on the TSMC engineering application .Thus TSMC fault diagnosis research are profoundly meaning. This paper presents fault diagnosis strategy of TSMC and analysis switch failure mode through the current circuit, then puts forward the fault diagnosis method based on output line voltage. This method can rapidly and accurately judge the fault switch. Algorithm of the method is simple and easy to implement, etc. The simulation results verify the correctness and feasibility of the fault diagnosis method.
