Analysis of Loss Characteristics of Composite Modular DC Converter Based on MMC-DAB

  • 摘要: 电力电子变换器的运行损耗计算,是为其下一步进行优化设计,降低运行成本,从而在工程中进行实际应用的重要环节。首先简要介绍一种适用于海上风电直流送出场合的高压直流变压器拓扑,并分析其专用的S/M调制原理。针对基于MMC-DAB模块的复合模块化直流变换器的拓扑和调制策略的特点,建立完整的变换器损耗计算模型,并通过仿真算例验证调制策略的可靠性以及损耗计算模型的正确性。最后依据变换器实际运行的额定工况,基于实际开关器件参数理论计算了变换器的运行效率,为变换器的实际应用和效率提升奠定了基础。

     

    Abstract: The calculation of the operating loss of power electronic converter is an important step to optimize its design and reduce the operating cost, to carry out practical application in engineering. A kind of high voltage DC transformer topology which is suitable for offshore wind power DC transmission is introduced briefly and the special S/M modulation principle is analyzed. Then, a complete loss calculation model is established for the proposed composite modular DC converter based on MMC-DAB module, and the reliability of the modulation strategy and the correctness of the loss calculation model are verified by simulation. Finally, the rated operating conditions of the converter are designed, and the parameters of the actual switching devices are used to calculate the operating efficiency of the converter, which lays the groundwork for actual application and efficiency improvement of the proposed composite modular DC converter.
